1. Scope and principles

YeeDot is a local-first cash-flow tool. Account names, balances, transactions, categories, notes, plans, and forecasts stay on your device by default. Core tracking and deterministic forecasts do not depend on a network connection or AI.

This website sets no cookies, runs no client-side analytics, provides no forms, and does not actively collect your ledger or contact details.

2. Local data

The app stores account names, balances, transactions, categories, notes, cash-flow plans, import and export files, settings, and AI chat history locally. You can export or clear local data in the app. Removing the app may also remove local data that has not been backed up elsewhere.

3. Sign in and optional cloud backup

When you choose Sign in with Apple, the service processes Apple's stable user identifier, authentication state, a device identifier, and session hashes for authentication, device management, and account security.

Cloud backup is used only after you enable it. The server stores a readable full snapshot, version, size, timestamps, and necessary device metadata. It is not end-to-end encrypted. Account deletion removes the online snapshot and revokes active sessions; infrastructure backups expire through a rotation of 7 daily, 4 weekly, and 6 monthly snapshots.

4. Anonymous analytics and feedback

Anonymous analytics is off by default. If enabled, it sends only a random installation ID, an allowlisted event name, app version, and time—never balances, accounts, transactions, notes, or a full backup. You can turn it off and request deletion of historical analytics events.

Feedback category, message, and an optional contact method are processed only when you submit feedback and consent to being contacted.

5. Optional YeeDot AI

YeeDot AI requires separate consent and Sign in with Apple. If enabled, the disclosed model provider receives your original question, the latest 12 local chat turns, and the minimum cash-flow context needed to answer. It does not receive account names, notes, raw merchant text, transaction IDs, device IDs, or a full backup.

AI chat stays local and is limited to 50 messages or 30 days. It is not included in cloud backup, CSV export, or anonymous analytics. YeeDot servers retain consent, daily request and token counts, and non-content security metadata. The provider and its policy are disclosed before use.

YeeDot AI is currently disabled, so no data is sent to an AI provider.

6. Website and infrastructure logs

EdgeOne provides delivery and security for this website. To deliver requests, troubleshoot failures, and prevent abuse, the hosting platform may process standard access logs such as IP address, request time, path, and device or browser information, retaining them only as needed for those purposes and legal obligations.

7. Your choices and rights

You can decline or withdraw separate permission for cloud backup, anonymous analytics, and AI. You can export data, clear local data, delete the cloud account, or contact us to exercise access, correction, deletion, withdrawal, or other rights available under applicable law.

We will update this policy and provide an appropriate notice if processing changes materially. Before release, this policy must still be reviewed against the actual hosting regions, providers, and applicable law.
