YeeDot1. Scope and controller
This Policy applies to the YeeDot app, the YeeDot website on the current domain, and related support services operated by Starroy Inc.. The domain you use determines the responsible operator.
YeeDot is local-first. Core bookkeeping, planning, and deterministic forecasts do not require an account or upload your ledger. The website sets no cookies, runs no client-side analytics, provides no web form, and loads no third-party fonts.
Read this Policy with the current-release notice above. Accounts, cloud backup, analytics, and AI do not affect local core features and process online data only after you use, enable, or authorize the relevant capability.
2. Information handled locally
Account names, balances, transactions, categories, notes, cash-flow plans, forecast results, reminders, imported and exported files, privacy settings, and AI history are stored on your device by default. The operator does not gain access merely because this data exists on your device.
You can export or clear local data in the app. Uninstalling, clearing app storage, or losing the device may remove data that was not separately exported or backed up.
3. Sensitive financial information
Balances, transactions, accounts, and cash-flow plans can reveal your financial circumstances and require strong protection. Misuse may create risks of financial loss, fraud, discrimination, or other harm.
This information is used on-device by default. Necessary data is transmitted securely to disclosed services only after you enable cloud backup or YeeDot AI and complete the relevant authorization. Refusal does not disable local core features.
4. Current network activity
EdgeOne delivers and protects the website and may process standard logs such as IP address, time, path, User-Agent, and response status.
The direct Android build can request an approved YeeDot update manifest. It requests an APK only after you start a download. Delivery requires IP address, request time, app version, channel, and download request details.
5. Online features you choose
These online features are optional. If you decline or disable them, YeeDot still provides core bookkeeping, planning, and deterministic forecasting on-device.
- Sign in with Apple
- Available on iOS. If you choose it, YeeDot handles the stable Apple user identifier, authorization state, and session-security data for authentication.
- Cloud backup
- If enabled by you, uploads server-readable per-ledger snapshots, a workspace manifest, version, size, timestamp, and necessary device metadata. Cloud backup is not end-to-end encrypted.
- Anonymous analytics
- Off by default. If enabled, sends only a separate random installation ID, allow-listed events, app version, and time—not amounts, accounts, transactions, notes, AI conversations, or backups.
- Feedback
- Handles a category, message, and optional contact details only when you submit them. We will not ask for a full ledger.
- YeeDot AI
- Currently available as an optional feature. It is used only after the provider, policy, data scope, and retention are published and you separately consent; it may receive your prompt, up to 12 recent local turns, and minimized cash-flow context when needed.
6. Retention and security
You control on-device data until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Website and update logs are retained only for the shortest period required for security, troubleshooting, and legal duties.
Deleting a cloud account revokes active sessions and removes active online snapshots. Infrastructure backups expire under the rotation of 7 daily, 4 weekly, and 6 monthly snapshots.
We use reasonable controls including encrypted transport, access control, key separation, allow-listed log fields, rate limits, and protected backups. Relevant incidents will be remediated and notified as required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
Use app and system settings to control notifications, biometrics, reminders, analytics, cloud backup, and AI. Declining optional features does not disable local bookkeeping.
You may request access, copies, correction, supplementation, or deletion of information controlled by us, withdraw authorization, delete a cloud account, or ask for an explanation. We will respond within 15 business days after necessary identity verification.
9. Minors
YeeDot is not directed to children under 14. If we discover that we handled a child's information without valid guardian consent, we will verify and delete it or take other legally required action.
Users aged 14 to 17 should review this Policy, the User Agreement, and important feature notices with a guardian.
10. Updates and contact
Material changes to the operator, purposes, data types, providers, storage regions, or transfer paths require an updated version and effective date. Silent updates will not replace renewed consent where required.
